The strength and conditioning program I built at Brunswick High School came from everything behind it — years in the classroom, coaching athletes from K–12 through college at John Carroll University, and time around Division I and professional programs. I took what works at the highest levels and made it teachable for a PE class that has none of those resources.
Most PE teachers run their program alone — no budget, no assistant, and a weight room nobody else in the building takes seriously. I write for that teacher. The curriculum, the assessments, and the rubrics are the thinking I've tested with real students and am putting into a textbook, built to run with one teacher and the equipment you already have.
